Albury Airport participates in Airport Safety Week

Now is more important than ever for Albury Airport to show our commitment to safety.

This week Albury Airport are participating in a number of events and activities for Airport Safety week. This year's Airport theme is We are in this together. Daily themes have included, maintaining airport safety through the COVID-19 pandemic, human factors in airport safety, foreign object debris FOD WALK, safety management systems (SMS) and wellness during COVID-19. Events and activities have included a foreign object debris (FOD) walk, a safety briefing with security screening staff and a tour of the DC-2 Uiver aircraft.

Airport Safety Week is a safety campaign that is specifically tailored to engage with employees and contractors working on an aerodrome. The campaign is a collaboration between the Australian Airports Association (AAA) and the NZ Airports Association (NZ Airports).
